Job summary

Lotus Gardens Senior Living in Appleton, WI is seeking a Full Time Cook to support dining services for our residents. You will read recipes and prepare breakfast, lunch, or dinner while ensuring tasty, high-quality meals for our community.

Maintain sanitation per safety standards, rotate stock with the Food Service Director, and adapt to residents’ dietary needs. Requires at least one year of cooking experience and Serv-Safe certification or willingness to obtain.

Qualifications

• Minimum of one year of cooking experience (short order cooking) and quantity cooking.
• Ability to follow recipes to ensure consistency of product.
• Willingness to obtain Serv-Safe certification if not already certified.

Responsibilities

• Prepare breakfast, lunch or dinner as assigned.
• Orders, receives, and rotates stock with the Food Service Director.
• Maintain proper sanitation and safety procedures and high quality food presentation.
• Assist with meeting resident dining expectations and dietary needs.
• Read and follow recipes to ensure standardization of meals.
