Job summary

Morrison Healthcare, a Compass Group company, is hiring a full-time Cook at Cherokee Medical Center in Gaffney, SC. The role prepares meals per standards, ensures proper portions and temperatures, and supports kitchen operations with safety and HACCP compliance.

We welcome candidates with cooking experience; ServSafe certification is a plus. The pay ranges from $16 to $19 per hour, with full benefits for eligible staff and opportunities to grow within a nationally supported healthcare dining

Qualifications

• Previous cooking experience is a plus.
• A valid ServSafe certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Prepares high-quality food items according to standardized recipes and instructions to meet production, delivery and service schedules.
• Ensures food is served at correct temperatures and presented attractively.
• Maintains cleanliness and safe food-handling procedures in the kitchen.
• Assists in ordering, receiving of food and supplies, and maintains inventory records.
• Adheres to HACCP standards and participates in safety meetings.
