Vitality Living Elizabethtown is seeking a dedicated Cook to prepare nutritious meals for residents in our Elizabethtown community. You will follow menus, production records, and established recipes to deliver quality dining experiences.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Two years of experience in institutional or full-service restaurant cooking.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing.
• Maintain food handlers permit and any required state certifications.
• Understand food safety procedures, sanitation, and proper storage techniques.
• Meet state health-related requirements.

Responsibilities

• Review menus and Daily Food Production Records for instructions.
• Prepare meals that are nutritious, appetizing, and attractive according to menus.
• Adhere to procedures for covering, dating, labeling, and storing food promptly.
• Clean kitchen after meals per cleaning schedule, including areas and equipment.
• Attend onboarding, annual training, and team meetings as requested.
• Perform other duties as assigned by Culinary Services Director or Sous Chef.
