Chartwells Higher Education Dining Services is hiring immediately for full-time Cook positions in Portland, OR. Address: 1912 Southwest 6th Avenue. Schedule is full-time, Monday through Friday, with hours varying by position.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of cooking and food service experience.
• Ability to follow standardized recipes and HACCP guidelines.
• Flexible schedule with Monday–Friday; hours may vary by position.

Responsibilities

• Prepares high-quality food items according to standardized recipes and instructions to meet production and service schedules.
• Ensures food served at correct temperatures and is appealing.
• Keeps kitchen clean and organized; stores excess food per safe handling procedures.
• Assists in ordering and receiving of food and supplies as required.
• Reports maintenance issues or safety concerns to supervisor.
