Job summary

Creative Dining Services is hiring a Cook for the first shift at St. Benedict at Auburndale in Cordova, TN. You will join the dining services team to provide high-quality, properly seasoned, nutritious meals in a safe, cost-conscious operation.

Expect 7am–3pm Monday–Friday with occasional catering events. Requires at least 2 years cooking experience and ServSafe certification; HS diploma preferred but not required. We offer competitive pay and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years cooking experience.
• High School diploma or equivalent preferred but not required.
• ServSafe Certification.

Responsibilities

• Time food production so meals are ready at service.
• Prepare dishes per established recipes ensuring freshness and quality.
• Utilize batch cooking to control production.
• Maintain safe food handling at all times.
• Store food items properly with labeling and dating.
• Hold temperatures as required and log food temps.
• Maintain a clean and sanitized work area.
• Open/close kitchen and secure areas when needed.
• Assist with ordering and inventory procedures.
• Remove refuse and manage stock as needed.
