Job summary

Autumnwood Care Center is seeking a Full-Time Cook to join our culinary team and prepare nutritious meals for residents in a supportive community environment.

You will work with the dietary team to develop menus that address diverse dietary needs, maintain a clean kitchen, and ensure meals are served promptly with attention to presentation and resident satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook meals for residents, ensuring that all dishes are presented with flair and attention to detail
• Develop and maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment, adhering to all health and safety regulations
• Collaborate with the dietary team to plan and execute special events and themed meals
• Monitor food temperatures, storage, and rotation to ensure the highest quality and safety of our residents' meals
• Participate in meal service and presentation, ensuring that all dishes are delivered to the dining room in a timely and efficient manner
• Maintain accurate inventory of food and supplies, and place orders as needed
• Provide excellent customer service to our residents, responding to their dietary needs and preferences
