Job summary

MGC Contractors, Inc. is seeking General Laborers to join our Texas division in the Austin area. This full-time position supports on-site construction activities and emphasizes safety and efficient workflow on professional job sites.

You will work with the crew to meet production goals, perform general labor tasks, and adhere to site safety rules under the supervision of foremen and project managers.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Six months to one year of related experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Must work quickly, productively and safely to meet production goals as outlined by the Leadman, Foreman, Superintendent, and/or Project Manager.
• Follow direction from the Leadman, Foreman, Superintendent, and/or Project Manager with regards to daily production schedule and activities.
• Works with Leadman, Foreman, and/or Superintendent to ensure the job-site is safe prior to commencing work.
• Maintain a clean job site; pick up tools, equipment, and secure job site each day.
• Use equipment and/or an assortment of job tools.
• Perform general laborer work as needed.
• Any and all other duties assigned.
