Job summary

Celebration Village Acworth is seeking a dedicated Housekeeper to maintain clean, safe common areas and resident rooms within a warm, family-like community. The role emphasizes empathy, teamwork, and attention to infection control and safety.

Qualifications

• Genuine loving and caring attitude for seniors.
• Ability to read, speak, and write in English.
• High School or GED preferred.
• Experience in hospitality or a senior community helpful but not required.
• Complete employment screenings including criminal background check and drug screenings.
• Must be able to lift at least 40 pounds and perform physical tasks.

Responsibilities

• Follow established performance standards andPolicies.
• Dust vents, rails, fans, baseboards, furniture, and blinds.
• Vacuum and shampoo carpets; vacuum and spot clean upholstery.
• Clean and sanitize bathrooms and restock supplies.
• Identify safety hazards and report to supervisor.
• Maintain proper chemical labeling and locked storage.
• Assist residents and communicate concerns to supervisor.
• Comply with federal, state, and local regulations.
• Participate in trainings and team activities.
