Job summary

Hudson Milestones is seeking a reliable and compassionate Driver to support individuals with developmental disabilities by providing safe and dependable transportation throughout Hudson County. This full-time position offers 30 hours per week, Monday–Friday, at $20.00 per hour, with a comprehensive benefits package.

You will transport clients to programs, appointments, and activities, assist with entering/exiting the vehicle, maintain records, and adhere to safety and agency policies.

Qualifications

• Valid New Jersey Driver’s License with a clean driving record.
• Ability to safely operate agency vehicles.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Dependable, punctual, and organized work habits.
• Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities is a plus.
• Ability to pass required background checks and driving record reviews.

Responsibilities

• Safely transport individuals to and from scheduled destinations
• Assist passengers with entering and exiting the vehicle when needed
• Maintain accurate transportation records and schedules
• Conduct routine vehicle safety inspections
• Follow all agency policies and traffic regulations
• Communicate effectively with staff, individuals served, and families
