Job summary

Futures Rehabilitation Center, Inc. is seeking an Employment Specialist to plan and provide community employment services for individuals with disabilities in Bradford, PA.

The role supports pre-employment training, advocacy, and coordination with vocational rehabilitation services. The position requires a high school diploma or GED plus 2 years of relevant experience or a Bachelor’s degree in psychology, disability services, social services, or related fields.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; 2+ years working with adults with disabilities in employment settings, or a Bachelor’s degree in psychology, disability services, social services, business, education or related field.
• Strong knowledge of regulations governing employment services; excellent written, verbal and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide pre-employment training (applications, interview prep, transportation, etc.).
• Advocate for participants in workplace and community settings.
• Coordinate with OVR for employment services and contracted services.
• Coordinate with referring agencies to determine needs for services.
• Maintain participant records per regulatory requirements.
• Provide transportation to employment-related activities as required.
• Promote respectful, safe environments and professional conduct.
