Responsibilities

• Perform all Café restaurant functions, including deli line, barista, grill, ice cream, baked goods, fudge, and other duties as assigned per Café.
• Maintain knowledge of Café recipes and prepared foods.
• Follow all food safety guidelines by Scheels, State, and Local Ordinances.
• Ensure all products are received and stored according to SOPs.
• Prepare different types of food, drinks, and ingredients.
• Follow Scheels cashier guidelines as pertains to Café registers.
• Manage side work, stocking, cleaning schedules, and opening/closing procedures.
• Assist in training new associates using kitchen tools and SOPs.
• Maintain an orderly and clean workspace and surroundings.
• Read and interpret safety manuals and procedures.
• Be able to work varied hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Compensation/Scheduling:

Compensation for this position starts at $17.00 per hour depending on experience, average work hours are 41 hours per week. Day-time availability between 8:30 am and 5:00 pm is required.

Responsibilities:

• Perform all Café restaurant functions, which may include deli line, barista, grill, ice cream, baked goods, fudge, and other duties as assigned per Café ASL
• Maintain working knowledge of Café recipes and prepared foods
• Follow all food safety guidelines by Scheels, State, and Local Ordinances
• Ensure all products are received and stored according to Standard Operating Guidelines
• Prepare different types of food, drinks, and ingredients
• Ensure Scheels Cashier Guidelines are followed as it pertains to Café registers
• Manage and support side work, stocking, daily and detailed cleaning schedules, and opening and closing procedures
• Make decisions about the purchasing of inventory, the arrangement of merchandise, and sales trends to meet or exceed Scheels' standards
• Assist in training all new associates using kitchen tools, mentor checklists, and Standard Operating Guidelines
• Maintain an orderly and exceptionally clean appearance of personal workspace and surrounding areas
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
• Ability to work assigned schedule, which may include varied hours, evenings, weekends, and holidays

Education & Experience:

The ideal candidate will have a high school education and 1-3 years of related experience or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience

Physical Requirements/Lifting Requirements:

Must be able to sit, stand, bend at the waist, climb, stoop, kneel, crouch, reach, walk, push/pull, lift, talk, and hear with or without reasonable accommodation.

Heavy work – Exerting up to 100 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 50 pounds of force frequently, and/or up to 20 pounds of force constantly to move objects.
