Sapphire Health Services, LLC is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) in Portland, OR to provide direct resident care under licensed staff. You will assist with activities of daily living, promote independence, and help create a warm, respectful environment.

The ideal candidate is 18+, holds an active CNA license, completes state-approved training, and brings compassion, reliability, and strong communication. Full-time evening or day shifts available, with a $1,600 sign-on bonus.

Qualifications

• Must be 18+ years old.
• Active state Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license.
• Successful completion of a state-approved CNA training program.
• Compassionate and patient-centered approach to resident care.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Reliable and dependable with a strong work ethic.
• Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting and assisting residents with mobility.
• Ability to stand, walk, and reach for extended periods.
• Ability to pass a background check.

Responsibilities

• Adheres to the policies and procedures of the facility.
• Provide direct care to residents, including bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting, and feeding, according to individual care plans.
• Assist residents with mobility and transfers using proper body mechanics and assistive devices.
• Monitor and record vital signs, intake and output, reporting changes to licensed nursing staff.
• Respond to residents' call lights and requests for assistance with compassion and empathy.
• Assist with implementation of therapeutic and recreational activities to support residents' well-being.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized environment complying with infection control protocols.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to meet residents' needs and preferences.
• Provide emotional support and companionship to residents.
