Sapphire Health Services in Myrtle Point, Oregon is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) for an on-site, full-time role to provide direct resident care under licensed staff. You will assist with daily living activities, promote independence, and help create a warm, respectful environment for residents.

This position emphasizes collaboration with the care team to monitor health, document changes, and support activities that enhance residents’ physical, cognitive, and emotional well-being.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age.
• Active CNA license in the State of practice.
• Successful completion of a state-approved CNA training program.
• Compassionate and patient-centered approach to resident care.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Reliable and dependable with a strong work ethic.

Responsibilities

• Adheres to facility policies and procedures.
• Provide direct resident care including bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting, and feeding.
• Assist with mobility and transfers using proper body mechanics.
• Monitor vital signs and intake/output, reporting changes to licensed staff.
• Respond to resident call lights promptly with compassion and empathy.
• Assist with therapeutic and recreational activities to enhance well-being.
• Maintain a clean, safe environment and adherence to infection control.
• Collaborate with care team to meet residents' needs and preferences.
• Provide emotional support and companionship to residents.
• Other duties as assigned.
