Houston Physicians Hospital is hiring a Full Time CNA/ Patient Care Tech to join our team. You will play a vital role in delivering exceptional care to our patients, while upholding our core beliefs of value, integrity, continuity, accessibility, and community engagement.

Responsibilities include assisting RNs, stocking and dressing patients, aiding mobility, responding to call lights, and supporting Med/Surg staff.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Knowledge of patient care charts and histories.
• Patient interviewing skills.
• Ability to perform standard clinical procedures.
• Knowledge of patient evaluation procedures.
• Ability to maintain quality, safety, and infection control standards.
• Ability to adapt to change quickly and understand surgery procedures.
• Understands principles of aseptic technique and their implementation.

Responsibilities

• Stocking and dressing patients.
• Walking/ambulating patients and assisting with mobility.
• Assisting patients to the bathroom.
• Answering call lights and phones.
• Assisting Med/Surg RNs as needed.

Education

High School diploma or equivalent

Knowledge of patient care charts and patient histories
