Houston Physicians Hospital is seeking a Part Time CNA/Patient Care Tech to join our team. You will help with patient care tasks, assist Med/Surg RNs, stock supplies, and keep patients comfortable in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Phlebotomy experience.
• Knowledge of patient care charts and histories.
• Patient interviewing skills.
• Ability to perform standard clinical procedures according to established protocols.
• Knowledge of patient evaluation procedures.
• Ability to maintain quality, safety, and/or infection control standards.
• Adapt to change quickly, strong knowledge base relative to surgery procedures and management of the surgical patient.
• Understands principles of aseptic technique and their implementation.

Responsibilities

• Stocking, dressing patients, walking patients, assisting patients to the bathroom, answering call lights, answering phones, and assisting Med/Surg RNs as needed.
