Job summary

Alpine Care of Evanston in Evanston, IL is seeking a dedicated Certified Nursing Assistant to join our caring team. This full-time opening requires IL CNA certification or in-progress status, and CPR.

Pay ranges from $19.00 to $25.50 per hour in a SEIU union position with benefits dependent on hours worked. As a CNA, you’ll assist residents with ADLs, monitor conditions, ensure safety, and document observations.

Qualifications

• Must be CNA certified in IL or in the process of obtaining certification.
• Active CPR card required.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Prior CNA experience preferable.

Responsibilities

• Provide quality nursing care promoting guest rights, dignity and choice.
• Give individualized attention to support physical, mental and psychosocial well-being.
• Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs) including bathing, dressing, grooming and feeding.
• Attend to incontinent care, transfers, ambulation, ROM and communication needs.
• Maintain skin integrity to prevent ulcers by turning and applying moisturizers.
• Support floor nurses with vital signs, weight checks, and specimen collection.
• Know and report care plans, observe Guest needs and report changes.
