Spectrum Retirement Communities is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) for assisted living in Kansas. This full-time role involves assisting residents with daily living activities, transporting them within the community, and responding to emergencies.

A valid Kansas CNA license is required, with CPR preferred and prior elderly-care experience beneficial. Schedule is full-time with days and hours varying; weekends/holidays may be required.

Qualifications

• Valid Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) in Kansas required.
• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• All state educational requirements for the position must be met.
• CPR certification preferred.
• Experience working with elderly population preferred.
• Calm, helpful, and respectful countenance appreciated.

Responsibilities

• Providing residents with assistance in activities of daily living (grooming, bathing, personal environment).
• Transporting residents within the community to activities, other departments, or dining.
• Responding to emergency calls, resident/visitor requests, and environmental hazards promptly and safely.
• Reviewing and adhering to resident care plans and obtaining vital signs.
