Job summary

Coast Plaza Doctors Hospital is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant for full-time day shifts in Norwalk, CA. The role requires 3 shifts per week with weekend availability and includes a base rate of $23 per hour, with overtime after 8 hours and an effective rate of about $26.83 per hour for long shifts.

The CNA will work under the supervision of licensed nurses to provide patient care, monitor vitals, assist with daily activities, document in EMR, and support a safe, compassionate care

Qualifications

• Six or more months of CNA experience in hospital setting preferred.
• Ability to learn, follow instructions, and collaborate with healthcare team.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide ADL support, mobility assistance, and safety supervision.
• Accurately document vital signs, intake/output, height and weight in EMR.
• Monitor patient vitals and assist with meals, hygiene, and comfort measures.
• Support with clinical procedures under supervision and ensure patient safety.
