Job summary

Intercommunity Care in Norwalk, CA is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant with Sub-Acute experience to join our Nursing team on the night shift. This full-time position requires an active CNA certificate, at least one year in Sub-Acute care, and a commitment to compassionate resident care.

You must read, write and speak English, be fully vaccinated, and maintain good physical health for lifting and assisting residents.

Qualifications

• Active CNA certification with successful completion of a CNA program.
• Minimum one year of Sub-Acute experience.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• COVID-19 vaccination including booster(s).
• Ability to read, write, and speak English.
• Good physical health to lift/move patients and stand for long periods.
• Compassion towards residents and their families.

Responsibilities

• Providing personal care for residents under supervision of a licensed and/or registered nurse.
• Assistance with activities of daily living including dressing, bathing, grooming, dining, recreational activities, and outings.
• Organizational skills to keep the unit running smoothly.
• Answer call lights to determine and meet resident needs.
• Use proper body mechanics when necessary.
• Perform and document rounds of patients and report any changes.
• Provide companionship and excellent care to patients.
• Maintain a clean and healthy environment.
• Prioritize patient/resident activities based on current care needs.
• Proper lifting and transitioning residents between wheelchair, bed, and chair.
• Transporting residents to dining area for meals and activities.
• Be punctual and professional.
• Other duties as assigned.

We are seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) withSUBACUTE experience to join our team! We work a 4/2 rotation scheudle.

We are currently PM shift, with Sub-Acute experience.

• Active CNA certification with a successful completion of a CNA program
• Minimum one (1) year of Sub-Acute experience
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Fully vaccinated against COVID-19 including Booster(s)
• Ability to read, write, and speak English
• Good physical health to lift and move patients, and/or stand for long periods of time, with or without reasonable accommodation
• Compassion towards residents and their families

Primary Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) Responsibilities

• Providing personal care for the residents under the supervision of a licensed and/or registered nurse

Pay Scale: $22 to $23 experience required

Depending on a number of factors, including, but not limited to location, regularly scheduled work shift, knowledge, skills, experience, and expertise.
