Job summary

Arnot Ogden Medical Center is seeking a Clinical Assistant to provide essential support on the patient care unit, collaborating with the Unit Director and Staff Development Instructor under RN supervision. You will plan and review equipment and supply needs, assisting with patient care and technical procedures.

The role requires a high school diploma, BLS certification within 90 days, and the ability to perform physical tasks. 40 hours weekly, days/evenings, with a sign-on bonus up to $2,500.

Qualifications

• BLS certification within 90 days of hire.
• Experience in a healthcare environment preferred.
• Ability to read and write; basic patient care tasks.
• Willingness to perform physical tasks such as lifting and standing for long periods.

Responsibilities

• Technical skills demonstrated; perform patient care tasks and report data to RN promptly.
• Assist nursing staff with procedures and equipment management.
• Maintain safety, infection control, and equipment documentation per policy.
