Summary

The Cleaning Crew Team Member will ensure a positive customer experience by keeping all areas of the store clean.

Primary Functions and Essential Responsibilities

• Professionally clean and maintain facility using cleaning procedures and products in conformance with prescribed company standards.
• Utilize and properly maintain commercial floorcare equipment.
• Move all reasonably portable items to allow for thorough cleaning underneath, behind, and in all corners and edges.
• Identify and note any damages or safety hazards, injuries, etc. to direct supervisor.
• Replenish and restock consumable items such as soaps and paper products.
• Utilize biometric timeclock to track labor hours in Paycom.
• Send pictures via phone/text message and email daily after cleaning is complete.
• Other responsibilities as assigned.

Reporting Relationships

Reports to the Account Director.

Qualifications

• Custodial experience is required.
• Punctuality and reliability is a must.
• Honesty and exceptional work ethic.
• Pass drug testing and background check and be eligible to work in the U.S.
• Availability during the hours of 11 pm and 6 am.
• Ability to be flexible with the understanding that hours may fluctuate based on business need.

Physical Demands / Work Environment

• Continually required to stand, walk, bend, stoop and kneel.
• Frequently required to bend, stoop, and kneel.
• Must be able to lift and/or move 50+ pounds.
• Ability to effectively communicate orally with customers, vendors, management, and other co‑workers is crucial. Regular use of the mobile smartphone and e‑mail for communication is essential.
• Hearing and vision within normal ranges is essential for normal conversations, to receive ordinary information, and to prepare or inspect documents.
• Must be able to operate forklifts/pallet jacks as needed.
• The job may be performed in a warehouse environment or retail/grocery environment, is performed in a distribution warehouse.
• Must be willing to work different shifts when the business need arises.
