Job summary

TEC Services is seeking a Cleaning Crew Team Member to ensure a positive customer experience by keeping all areas of the store clean and orderly. You will follow cleaning procedures, use floorcare equipment, and maintain supplies.

This role requires reliability, the ability to work overnight hours (11 pm–6 am), and the stamina to lift 50+ pounds. You will report to the Account Director and uphold high standards of safety and professionalism.

Qualifications

• Custodial experience is required.
• Punctuality and reliability is a must.
• Honesty and exceptional work ethic.
• Pass drug testing and background check and eligible to work in the U.S.
• Availability during the hours of 11 pm and 6 am.
• Ability to be flexible with the understanding that hours may fluctuate based on business need.

Responsibilities

• Utilizing and properly maintain commercial floorcare equipment.
• Move all reasonably portable items to allow for thorough cleaning underneath and behind as well as all corners and edges.
• Identify and note any damages or safety hazards, injuries, etc. to direct supervisor.
• Replenish/restock consumable items such as soaps and paper products.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS/WORK ENVIRONMENT

• Continually required to stand, walk, bend, stoop and kneel.
• Frequently required to bend, stoop, and kneel.
• Must be able to lift and/or move 50+ pounds.
• Ability to effectively communicate orally with customers, vendors, management, and other co-workers is crucial. Regular use of the mobile smart phone and e‑mail for communication is essential.
• Hearing and vision within normal ranges is essential for normal conversations, to receive ordinary information, and to prepare or inspect documents.
• Must be able to operate forklifts/pallet jacks as needed.
• The job may be performed in a warehouse environment or retail/grocery environment. It is performed in a distribution warehouse.
• Must be willing to work different shifts when the business need arises.
