Qualifications

• Six months of prior childcare experience required.
• High school diploma or equivalent; CDA within one year; related degrees may substitute.
• Insured and reliable vehicle for transportation.
• Must pass health and safety requirements including TB screening and background checks.

Responsibilities

• Support campus staff and assist in assigned classrooms as needed.
• Guide children in activities that support physical, emotional, social, and cognitive development under teacher supervision.
• Respond to individual developmental needs of infants and toddlers.
• Actively supervise children indoors and on the playground.
• Help prepare materials and adapt the physical environment as needed.
• Monitor children to ensure safety at all times.
• Maintain positive communication with children and families.
• Assist with meals, diapering/toileting, hygiene, rest, and play routines.
• Keep classroom areas clean, organized, and sanitary, including light cleaning tasks.
• Complete 20 hours of annual training and attend required staff development.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
