Job summary

Pizza Ranch Norwalk is seeking a dependable Line Cook to join our fast-paced kitchen in Norwalk, IA. You will measure, prepare, and cook food to Pizza Ranch standards, ensuring timely, high-quality meals for guests.

We value punctuality, teamwork, and a strong guest-service focus, with physical stamina to stand and lift up to 40 pounds during shifts. Full-time, with benefits offered.

Qualifications

• Must be 16 years of age or older.
• May be cross-trained to perform other workstation duties within the restaurant as needed.
• Ability to be mobile and/or on your feet for extended periods of time during entire shift.
• Reaching, bending, stooping, lifting, wiping, sweeping, and mopping.
• Ability to lift and carry weight up to 40 pounds.
• Strong desire and ability to provide legendary guest service.
• Ability to positively interact with Team Members and Guests.

Responsibilities

• Main responsibility is to measure, prepare, and cook food according to Pizza Ranch standards.
• Maintain punctuality, cleanliness, and honesty during shifts; read recipe cards and follow directions to produce quality meals.

Line cooks are vital to the successful operation of our restaurants and meeting the expectations of our customers. The main responsibility of a Pizza Ranch Line Cook is to measure, prepare, and cook food according to Pizza Ranch standards. Punctuality, cleanliness, and honesty are the traits required from applicants for this position. Line cooks must also be able to read recipe cards, measure ingredients, and prepare food in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a high standard of quality.
