Job summary

Ardent in Topeka, KS is seeking a day-shift, full-time Certified Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) to join our team. You will deliver care per treatment plans, supervise clinical staff, and help advance therapy services within our hospital setting.

Requirements include an Associate’s degree in physical therapy, an active PTA license in Kansas, and BLS certification within 14 days of hire. A valid driver’s license with a clean driving record and at least one year of driving experience are also

• Associate’s degree in physical therapy required.
• Active PTA license in Kansas required.
• BLS certification within 14 days of hire.
• Valid driver’s license and driving record required.
• Two-year driving history requirement: no DUIs, speeding tickets, or accidents.
• At least one year of driving experience.

Responsibilities

• Performs delivery of care following PT plans of care and ensures delivery of prescribed care.
• Provides direction and supervision to clinical support staff.
• Promotes physical therapy services and professional development.
• Reports to the department leader.
