Job summary

Foundation Park in Manhattan, KS is hiring Certified Medication Aides for the night shift (6:00pm–6:00am). FT shift rotation: Week 1 — Sun, Wed, Thur; Week 2 — Mon, Tue, Fri, Sat.

As a CMA, you administer medications and provide routine nursing care per the resident assessment and care plan, with duties including CNA tasks as directed. Must hold Kansas CNA/CMA certification; strong time management and a courteous, respectful demeanor are essential.

Qualifications

• Must have a current CNA/CMA certification in the State of Kansas.
• Excellent time management skills and ability to meet deadlines.
• Able to stand, bend, stoop, lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
• Previous job experience preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Administers medications and provides residents with routine daily nursing care and services in accordance with the resident's assessment and care plan, and as may be directed by supervisors
• Performs other nursing duties as assigned by nursing management including working as a Certified Nursing Aide (CNA)
• Creates and maintains an atmosphere of warmth, personal interest, and positive emphasis, as well as a calm environment
• Always exercises courtesy when residents, family members, and visitors are present
• Demonstrates pride in Foundation Park by keeping areas clean and safe
• Respects the privacy and dignity of residents
