Job summary

Certified Caregiver position in our Independent Living Homecare Program is full-time during daytime shifts. You will provide hands-on care, assist residents with ADLs, and serve as a friendly companion to help residents stay active while supporting their independence.

The role includes ambulation support, meal preparation, and reminders for medications, with duties to keep apartments tidy and carry out domestic tasks as requested by residents.

Qualifications

• Ability to understand and follow instructions in English, communicate effectively, and document care.
• Customer care with compassion and heart.
• Flu vaccine required.
• Comfortable standing for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on care and assist residents with ADLs and companionship.
• Ambulation and transfer assistance.
• Toileting, bathing, and grooming assistance.
• Meal preparation and light housekeeping.
• Medication reminders and appointment reminders.
• Maintain service plan tracking of services performed.
• Inform Supervisor of any changing conditions affecting independence.
