The CDL Instructor at North Carolina Community College System is responsible for delivering a high-quality learning experience for RCC students enrolled in the CDL Driving Academy. The role requires deep knowledge of CMV operation and adherence to state training standards.
Candidates should hold a CDL Class A with appropriate endorsements and have at least two years of experience driving a Class A CMV. Preference is given to applicants licensed by the NCDOT as CMV instructors.
A minimum of a High School GED is required.
Hold a CDL Class A with all endorsements necessary to operate the CMV for which training is to be provided, has at least two years of experience driving a Class A CMV, and meet all applicable state qualification requirements for CMV Instructors and CMV Behind-the-Wheel Instructors. Licensed by the NCDOT as a commercial truck driver training instructor preferred.
