Job summary

APM in the United States is seeking an executive transportation specialist to provide timely student transport and maintain vehicle records. The role may involve supporting other departments and occasional travel up to 30% to meet program needs.

You will supervise vehicle maintenance scheduling, ensure safety, and uphold respectful interactions with students. A valid CDL with passenger endorsement is required, along with a high school diploma or GED.

Responsibilities

• Provides students with timely and efficient student transportation services as required.
• Maintains appropriate vehicle documentation per DOL/Company requirements.
• May be assigned to assist in other departments as required.
• Schedules and delivers vehicles for preventive maintenance and repairs as necessary.
• Conducts vehicle inspections and reports safety issues and concerns to supervisor.
• Maintains the care, cleanliness, and upkeep of the Center’s vehicles.
• Produces quality work/assignments in a thorough, timely and accurate manner.
• Shows respect and courtesy to students and holds them accountable for their actions and behavior.
• Ensures that only authorized students are transported on and off Center.
• Keeps accurate log of students transported off of and returned to Center.
• Clearly communicates and consistently models appropriate CSS and employability skills.
• Maintains accountability of staff, students, and property.
• Adheres to safety practices in all areas of responsibility.
• Fosters and sustains a conducive environment at the center, ensuring it remains free from harassment, intimidation, and disrespect, thereby ensuring a safe space for both staff and students to engage in work and learning.
• Attends all required staff training opportunities.

Additional Information

This executive will be vital in expanding APM’s footprint in government and commercial markets by winning high-quality contracts. Success in this role will be driven by strategic insight, operational excellence, and leadership in proposal management.

This is an individual contributor role and does not have any direct reports. The Lead may from time to time be required to support work in other regions. Domestic and international travel of approximately 20–30% may be required.
