Responsibilities

• Provides SMART customer service at all times through the execution of Lowe's policies, procedures, and programs.
• Assists customers in locating, demonstrating, selecting, carrying, and loading merchandise based on their needs.
• Responds promptly to customer and employee questions, guiding them through projects when necessary.
• Communicates product information, including stock, special orders, features, benefits, applications, and warranties.
• Coordinates delivery with customers and truck drivers.

Essential Functions

Customer Service

• Deliver excellent customer service daily, adhering to Lowe's standards.
• Assist customers with merchandise.
• Respond to inquiries and provide project guidance.
• Show appreciation to customers.
• Share product and warranty information.
• Coordinate delivery and communication with customers and drivers.

In-stock

• Plan and execute delivery activities, including loading and scheduling.
• Inspect products before loading and assist customers as needed.
• Verify invoice details during loading.

Store Safety and Maintenance

• Ensure loads are safe and compliant with DOT regulations.
• Update delivery statuses in the system.
• Unload, install, and test appliances.
• Maintain vehicle and equipment safety, cleanliness, and compliance.
• Report safety issues and conduct daily safety reviews.
• Operate store equipment as required.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Minimum Requirements

• Class A or B CDL License with endorsements as specified.
• Valid medical certificate or ability to obtain one.
• Pass MVR screening.
• Legal ability to obtain required licensure.
• Basic reading, writing, and arithmetic skills.
• Must be 21 years or older.
• Compliance with DOT and CDL regulations.

Preferences

• 1 year of semi-truck/trailer driving or certification.
• 6 months of in-home delivery or retail customer service experience.
• 3 months operating a forklift or similar equipment.
