Essential Functions:

1. Customer Service

• Provides SMART customer service at all times through the execution of Lowe's policies, procedures, and programs.
• Assists customers by understanding their needs and helping locate, demonstrate, select, carry, and load merchandise.
• Responds promptly and knowledgeably to customer and employee questions, guiding them through projects when necessary.
• Shows genuine appreciation to customers.
• Communicates product information, including stock, special orders, benefits, applications, and warranties related to Lowe’s programs.
• Coordinates with customers and delivery drivers regarding delivery schedules.

In-stock

• Plans delivery activities, prepares loading tickets, and ensures on-time delivery.
• Prepares merchandise, builds delivery loads, and loads trucks within payload limits.
• Inspects products before loading or assisting customers with loading.
• Verifies invoice items with loaded quantities and descriptions.

Clean and Safe Stores

• Ensures loads are safe, secure, and compliant with DOT regulations.
• Updates delivery statuses in the system for tracking.
• Unloads, installs, and tests appliances upon delivery.
• Maintains vehicle inspections, cleanliness, and repairs.
• Completes DOT reporting to maintain certification and compliance.
• Identifies security risks like shoplifting and reports promptly.
• Maintains store cleanliness and organization, ensuring a safe environment.
• Operates store equipment as needed depending on the role.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Minimum Requirements:

• Class A or B CDL License with necessary endorsements and valid medical certificate.
• Ability to pass MVR screening and obtain required licenses.
• Ability to read, write, and perform basic arithmetic.
• Must be 21 years or older.
• Ability to comply with DOT and CDL regulations.

Preferences:

• 1 Year driving semi-trucks or certification from a driving school.
• 6 Months in-home delivery or retail customer service experience.
• 3 Months operating a forklift or Moffett for onloading/offloading.

Pay Range: $20.50 - $21.35 per hour
