Essential Functions:

• Customer Service
• Provides SMART customer service by following Lowe's policies, procedures, and programs
• Assists customers in locating, demonstrating, selecting, carrying, and loading merchandise
• Responds promptly and knowledgeably to customer and employee questions, guiding them through projects when needed
• Expresses sincere appreciation to customers
• Communicates information about stock, special orders, features, benefits, applications, and warranties related to Lowe’s programs
• Contacts customers regarding delivery or coordinates with drivers for delivery calls

In-stock

• Plans delivery activities, prints loading tickets, and ensures on-time delivery
• Prepares merchandise, builds and bands loads, and loads trucks within payload limits
• Inspects products before loading or assisting customers with loading
• Verifies invoice items with loaded quantities, descriptions, and model numbers

Clean and Safe Stores

• Ensures loads are safe, secure, and compliant with DOT regulations
• Updates delivery and route status in the system for tracking
• Unloads, installs, and tests appliances upon delivery
• Performs vehicle inspections, maintains cleanliness and repairs for delivery vehicles
• Completes DOT reporting for certification and compliance
• Detects signs of theft or security risks and reports promptly
• Maintains store cleanliness and organization, ensuring safety standards
• Operates store equipment as needed
• Performs other duties as assigned

Minimum Requirements:

• Class A CDL License (for multi-unit CMV) or Class B CDL License with air brake endorsement (for single-unit CMV)
• Valid medical certificate or ability to obtain one
• Ability to pass MVR screening
• Ability to obtain necessary sales licenses or registrations
• Ability to read, write, and perform basic arithmetic
• Must be 21 years or older
• Ability to comply with DOT and CDL regulations

Preferences:

• 1 year of semi-truck/trailer driving experience or certification
• 6 months of in-home delivery or retail customer service experience
• 3 months operating a forklift or Moffett equipment
