Essential Functions:

1. Customer Service: Provides SMART customer service at all times through the execution of Lowe's customer service policies, procedures, and programs. Seeks out customers to understand their needs and assists in locating, demonstrating, selecting, carrying, and loading merchandise. Listens and responds knowledgeably and promptly to questions from customers and employees, guiding them through projects when needed. Demonstrates sincere appreciation to customers. Communicates information about stock, special orders, features, benefits, applications, and warranties related to Lowe’s programs. Contacts customers regarding delivery or coordinates with truck drivers to call the customer.
2. In-stock: Plans delivery activities, prints loading tickets, and delivers merchandise according to schedule to ensure on-time delivery. Pulls merchandise, builds and bands delivery loads, and loads trucks within payload limits. Inspects product conditions before loading or assisting customers. Verifies invoice quantities against loaded items.
3. Clean and Safe Stores: Ensures loads are safe, secure, and compliant with DOT regulations. Updates delivery status on tracking systems. Unloads, installs, and tests appliances upon delivery. Verifies vehicle condition and reports maintenance needs. Completes DOT reporting for certification and compliance. Detects security risks like shoplifting and reports them promptly. Maintains cleanliness and organization of store and work areas. Ensures a safe environment, conducting safety reviews and noting hazards. Operates store equipment as needed and performs other duties as assigned.

Minimum Requirements:

• Class A CDL License required for locations with multi-unit CMV; Class B CDL License with air brake endorsement required for single-unit CMV.
• Valid medical certificate or ability to obtain one upon employment.
• Ability to pass MVR screening and obtain any necessary sales licenses or registrations.
• Ability to read, write, and perform basic arithmetic.
• Must be 21 years of age.
• Ability to comply with DOT and CDL regulations.

Preferences:

• 1 year experience driving semi-trucks/trailers or certification from a driving school.
• 6 months experience in in-home delivery or retail customer service.
• 3 months experience operating a forklift or Moffett for onloading/offloading.
