- Provides SMART customer service at all times through the execution of Lowe's customer service policies, procedures, and programs.
- Seeks out customers to understand their needs and assists in locating, demonstrating, selecting, carrying, and/or loading merchandise.
- Responds knowledgeably and promptly to customer and employee questions, walking them through projects when necessary.
- Demonstrates sincere appreciation to customers.
- Communicates information regarding stock, special order merchandise, feature benefits, applications, and warranties related to Lowe’s programs.
- Coordinates delivery with customers and truck drivers.
Essential Functions:
- Customer Service: Provides excellent service, understands customer needs, and communicates product information effectively.
- In-stock: Plans delivery activities, loads trucks, inspects products, and verifies deliveries.
- Clean and Safe Stores: Ensures loads are safe, updates delivery status, unloads and installs appliances, maintains vehicle and store safety, and operates equipment as needed.
Minimum Requirements:
- Class A or B CDL License with necessary endorsements.
- Valid medical certificate or ability to obtain one.
- Ability to pass MVR screening.
- Ability to read, write, and perform basic arithmetic.
- Must be 21 years of age.
- Ability to comply with DOT and CDL regulations.
Preferences:
- 1 year of driving semi-trucks/trailers or certification from a driving school.
- 6 months of in-home delivery or retail customer service experience.
- 3 months of forklift operation or onloading/offloading experience.
