Essential Functions:

1. Customer Service
2. Provides SMART customer service by following Lowe's policies, procedures, and programs.
3. Assists customers in locating, demonstrating, selecting, carrying, and loading merchandise.
4. Responds promptly and knowledgeably to customer and employee questions, guiding them through projects when needed.
5. Expresses genuine appreciation to customers.
6. Shares information about stock, special orders, features, benefits, applications, and warranties related to Lowe’s programs.
7. Communicates with customers regarding delivery or coordinates with truck drivers for delivery calls.

In-stock

1. Plans delivery activities, prints loading tickets, and ensures timely delivery of orders.
2. Prepares merchandise, builds, bands delivery loads, and loads trucks within payload limits.
3. Inspects products before loading for delivery or assisting customers with loading.
4. Verifies invoice items with loaded quantities, descriptions, and model numbers.

Clean and Safe Stores

1. Ensures loads are safe, secure, and compliant with DOT regulations.
2. Updates delivery and route status in the system for tracking.
3. Unloads, installs, and tests appliances upon delivery.
4. Performs daily vehicle inspections, and maintains cleanliness, repairs, and DOT compliance.
5. Detects security risks like shoplifting and reports promptly.
6. Maintains store and work area cleanliness and organization.
7. Ensures a safe work environment, conducting safety reviews and addressing hazards.
8. Operates store equipment as required by specific roles.
9. Performs other duties as assigned.

Minimum Requirements:

• Class A or B CDL License with specific endorsements depending on location.
• Valid medical certificate or ability to obtain one.
• Ability to pass MVR screening.
• Legal ability to obtain necessary licensure or registration.
• Basic reading, writing, and arithmetic skills.
• Must be 21 years or older.
• Ability to comply with DOT and CDL regulations.

Preferences:

• 1 year of semi-truck/trailer driving experience or certification.
• 6 months of in-home delivery or retail customer service experience.
• 3 months of forklift or Moffett operation experience.
