Provides SMART customer service at all times through the daily execution of Lowe's customer service policies, procedures, and programs.

Seeks out customers to understand their needs and assists in locating, demonstrating, selecting, carrying, and/or loading merchandise.

Listens to and responds knowledgeably and promptly to customer and employee questions by walking them through projects when necessary.

Demonstrates sincere appreciation to customers.

Communicates information to customers regarding stock, special order merchandise, feature benefits, application, and warranty information related to Lowe’s programs.

Contacts customers regarding delivery or coordinates with the truck driver to call the customer.

Essential Functions:

• Provides SMART customer service through Lowe's policies and procedures.
• Assists customers with locating and loading merchandise.
• Responds promptly to customer and employee questions.
• Communicates product and service information effectively.
• Coordinates delivery with truck drivers.

In-stock:

• Plans delivery activities and ensures on-time delivery of orders.
• Loads merchandise onto trucks according to delivery schedules.
• Inspects products before loading and assists customers with loading if needed.
• Verifies invoice details with loaded items.

Clean and Safe Stores:

• Ensures loads are safe and compliant with DOT regulations.
• Updates delivery status in tracking systems.
• Unloads, installs, and tests appliances upon delivery.
• Maintains vehicle inspections and cleanliness.
• Completes DOT reporting and ensures CDL compliance.
• Identifies security risks and reports them.
• Maintains store cleanliness and safety standards.
• Operates store equipment as needed.

Minimum Requirements:

• Class A or B CDL License with appropriate endorsements.
• Valid medical certificate or ability to obtain one.
• Ability to pass MVR screening.
• Legal ability to obtain necessary licensure.
• Basic reading, writing, and arithmetic skills.
• Must be 21 years old.
• Ability to comply with DOT and CDL regulations.

Preferences:

• 1 year of semi-truck/trailer driving experience or certification.
• 6 months of in-home delivery or retail customer service experience.
• 3 months of forklift or Moffett operation experience.
