Essential Functions:

1. Customer Service

• Provides exceptional customer service by following Lowe's policies and procedures.
• Assists customers in locating, demonstrating, selecting, carrying, and loading merchandise.
• Responds promptly and knowledgeably to customer and employee inquiries, guiding them through projects when needed.
• Expresses sincere appreciation to customers.
• Communicates information about stock, special orders, features, benefits, applications, and warranties related to Lowe’s programs.
• Contacts customers regarding deliveries or coordinates with drivers for delivery updates.

In-stock

• Plans and executes delivery activities, ensuring timely delivery of orders.
• Prepares merchandise, builds delivery loads, and loads trucks within payload limits.
• Inspects products before loading and assists customers with loading when necessary.
• Verifies invoice items against loaded quantities.

Clean and Safe Stores

• Ensures loads are secure and compliant with DOT regulations.
• Updates delivery statuses in the tracking system.
• Unloads, installs, and tests appliances upon delivery.
• Maintains vehicle inspections, cleanliness, and repairs for delivery vehicles.
• Completes DOT reporting for certification and compliance.
• Monitors for shoplifting and security risks, reporting concerns promptly.
• Maintains store cleanliness and organization, adhering to safety standards.
• Operates store equipment as required by the specific role.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Minimum Requirements:

• Class A or B CDL License with specific endorsements depending on location.
• Valid medical certificate or ability to obtain one.
• Ability to pass MVR screening.
• Legal ability to obtain sales-related licenses or registrations.
• Ability to read, write, and perform basic arithmetic.
• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Compliance with DOT and CDL regulations.

Preferences:

• Experience driving semi-trucks/trailers or certification from a driving school.
• Experience in in-home delivery or retail customer service.
• Experience operating a forklift or Moffett for loading/offloading.
