Essential Functions:

1. Customer Service

• Provide SMART customer service at all times, following Lowe's policies, procedures, and programs.
• Seek out customers to understand their needs and assist with locating, demonstrating, selecting, carrying, and loading merchandise.
• Respond promptly and knowledgeably to customer and employee questions, guiding them through projects when necessary.
• Show sincere appreciation to customers.
• Communicate information regarding stock, special orders, features, benefits, applications, and warranties related to Lowe’s programs.
• Contact customers about delivery or coordinate with truck drivers to call customers.

In-stock

1. Plan delivery activities, print loading tickets, and deliver merchandise on schedule.
2. Pull merchandise, build and band delivery loads, and load trucks within payload limits.
3. Inspect products before loading or assisting customers with loading.
4. Verify invoice items with quantities loaded by checking descriptions, items, and model numbers.

Clean and Safe Stores

1. Ensure loads are safe, secure, and compliant with DOT regulations.
2. Update delivery and route status in the system for tracking purposes.
3. Unload, install, and test appliances upon delivery.
4. Perform daily vehicle inspections, maintain cleanliness, and ensure vehicle repairs and maintenance.
5. Complete DOT reporting to maintain certification and compliance.
6. Detect signs of theft and security risks, reporting them promptly.
7. Maintain store cleanliness and organization through housekeeping standards.
8. Maintain a safe work environment, conducting safety reviews and noting hazards.
9. Follow safety requirements related to job duties, including the use of safety equipment and procedures.
10. Operate store equipment as needed based on specific roles and departments.
11. Perform other duties as assigned.

Minimum Requirements:

• Class A CDL License for locations with multi-unit CMV or Class B CDL License with air brake endorsement for single-unit CMV.
• Valid medical certificate or ability to obtain one upon employment.
• Ability to pass MVR screening and obtain necessary licensure or registration.
• Ability to read, write, and perform basic arithmetic.
• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Ability to comply with DOT and CDL regulations.

Preferences:

• 1 year of experience driving semi-trucks/trailers or certification from a driving school.
• 6 months of experience in in-home delivery or retail customer service.
• 3 months of experience operating a forklift or Moffett for loading/unloading.
