Essential Functions:
- Customer Service: Provides SMART customer service through Lowe's policies, procedures, and programs. Seeks out customers to understand needs and assists with locating, demonstrating, selecting, carrying, and loading merchandise. Responds promptly to questions, demonstrates appreciation, and communicates product information and warranties.
- In-stock: Plans delivery activities, prints loading tickets, and delivers merchandise on schedule. Pulls merchandise, builds loads, loads trucks within payload limits, inspects products, and verifies invoice details.
- Clean and Safe Stores: Ensures loads are safe and within DOT regulations. Updates delivery statuses, unloads and tests appliances, maintains vehicle inspections and cleanliness, reports hazards, and complies with safety standards. Operates store equipment as needed and maintains a safe work environment. Performs other duties as assigned.
Minimum Requirements:
- Class A CDL License (for multi-unit CMV) or Class B CDL License with air brake endorsement (for single-unit CMV).
- Valid medical certificate or ability to obtain one.
- Ability to pass MVR screening and obtain necessary licensure.
- Ability to read, write, perform basic arithmetic, and be at least 21 years old.
- Ability to comply with DOT and CDL regulations.
Preferences:
- 1 year of semi-truck/trailer driving experience or certification.
- 6 months of in-home delivery or retail customer service experience.
- 3 months of forklift or Moffett operation experience.
