We are hiring exceptional therapists with CBT expertiseWe are looking to hire exceptional, self-motivated therapists with strong training and expertise in CBT, DBT and/or other evidence-based treatment modalities (e.g., ACT) to join our collegial practice.
To be considered for this role, you must be a licensed mental health professional (license in NY, NJ, or CT required).
Clinicians are expected to schedule 25-30+ client-facing hours each week, including 15+ client-facing hours per week in-person in one of our offices and 10+ client-facing hours per week after 5pm.
We have offices in Manhattan (NYC), Scarsdale (NY), Parsippany (NJ), Stamford (CT), and Greenwich (CT).

Jason Duncan, Ph.D., founder of CBT Collective, is an expert CBT practitioner who has trained at leading CBT institutions, including the Beck Institute and The American Institute for Cognitive Therapy, and held leadership roles with NYC-CBT and ABCT. He is the host of Sanity Podcast, ABCT’s first official podcast collaboration, where he interviews renowned CBT experts (get a better sense of Dr. Duncan’s personality by listening to Sanity – https://podcasts.apple.com/us/podcast/sanity/id1513773243 ). He is known for his knowledge of clinical theory and implementation of exposure-based principles. Scott Waltman, Psy.D. is a master clinician at the forefront of modern CBT. With a wealth of experience as a clinician, international trainer, bestselling author, and clinical researcher, Dr. Waltman brings a unique blend of expertise, insight, and compassion to his work. He specializes in case-conceptualization driven therapy and is known for his extensive knowledge of therapeutic tools and cutting‑edge strategies. He has achieved multiple advanced certifications in CBT, including the ABPP board certification. He is President‑Elect and a full Fellow of the Academy of Cognitive & Behavioral Therapies, board member for the International Association of Cognitive Behavioral Therapies, Global Ambassador for the World Confederation of Cognitive and Behavioral Therapies, and editor of Advances in Cognitive Therapy. He has authored numerous peer‑reviewed publications and best‑selling books.
Francine Broder, Psy.D. was a core faculty member at the Beck Institute for over a decade – one of the leading international CBT training organizations established by the renowned CBT founder, Dr. Aaron Beck. She has extensive experience treating adults across a range of mental health conditions and frequently presents workshops on topics such as depression, suicide prevention, and disordered eating. She has Certified Diplomate status from the Academy of Cognitive & Behavioral Therapies and has published in the areas of eating disorders and applied psychology. During her time at the Beck Institute, she had a cardinal role in developing and disseminating many of the organization’s CBT trainings, provided individual/group consultation, and led comprehensive workshops and seminars, training countless clinicians at the national and international level.
Robert Hindman, Ph.D. was also a core faculty member at the Beck Institute for a decade and was instrumental in developing and disseminating many of the organization’s CBT trainings. During his time there, he trained countless clinicians at the international level, through individual/group consultation and provided comprehensive workshops and seminars. He also worked at the systems level by helping organizations develop specialized treatment programs to revamp their approach to client care. Beyond his deep expertise in CBT, Dr. Hindman is known for his extensive knowledge in integrating mindfulness into treatment. He has co‑authored book chapters, wrote the Beck Institute online course on CBT for Anxiety Disorders, and has published several journal articles.
Trent Codd, LCMHC is the chair of the Training and Credentialing Committee and full Fellow of the Academy of Cognitive & Behavioral Therapies, setting the standard of CBT certification nationwide. He has advanced post‑graduate training, including graduating from the International Obsessive Compulsive Disorder Foundation’s and the National Tourette Syndrome Association’s Behavior Therapy Training Institutes. He is a Board‑Certified Behavior Analyst and a Certified Trainer/Consultant in CBT. Beyond this, he provides trainings for various empirically supported treatments, including new wave modalities like ACT and RO‑DBT, and has authored numerous peer‑reviewed publications and influential books.
As part of their training experience, clinicians at CBT Collective have the opportunity for their sessions to be reviewed and scored by these senior trainers, who all have years of experience doing so as part of main CBT accrediting bodies.
