Job summary

CBT Collective is hiring exceptional therapists with CBT expertise to join our growing private practice in the New York metropolitan area, offering hybrid schedules and strong training. Licensed clinicians in NY, NJ, or CT are required and must maintain licenses in all three states.

Clinicians schedule 25-30+ sessions weekly, with at least 15 in-person across our offices and several evenings per week when needed.

Qualifications

• Masters-level education in counseling/therapy (e.g., MSW, M.A./M.S. in Counseling, Ph.D./Psy.D. in psychology).
• Licensed in NY, NJ, or CT and must pursue licenses in all three states by start date.
• Experience with CBT, DBT, ACT or other evidence-based modalities.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality CBT-based care to diverse patient populations.
• Implement evidence-based treatments (CBT, DBT, ACT) and tailor to client needs.
• Collaborate with colleagues in case consultations and formulation.
• Attend weekly supervision/consultation and didactics for professional growth.
• Complete progress notes and enrollment/on-boarding processes in a timely manner.
• Engage in continuing education and stay updated on new methodologies.

We are hiring exceptional therapists with CBT expertise

We are looking to hire exceptional, self-motivated therapists with strong training and expertise in CBT, DBT and/or other evidence-based treatment modalities (e.g., ACT) to join our collegial practice.

To be considered for this role, you must be a licensed mental health professional with an active license in NY, NJ, or CT. Once employed, clinicians are required to obtain and maintain active licenses in all three states.

In this hybrid role, clinicians schedule and bill 25-30+ client sessions per week. At least 10 of those sessions must fall during our high-demand times (weekdays after 5:15pm and/or weekends), and at least 15 must be in-person at one of our offices, spread across a minimum of 2 days per week. If high-demand sessions are billed entirely on weeknights, clinicians must work at least 3 evenings per week, with at least 2 of those evenings in-person at one of our offices. We have offices in Manhattan (NYC), Scarsdale (NY), Parsippany (NJ), Stamford (CT), and Greenwich (CT).

Pay range and compensation package

Compensation: $125 - 285k, variable based on training, experience, and caseload. Responsibilities

• Provide the best care possible to diverse patient populations in line with clinical best practices and ethical standards
• Implement evidence-based treatment modalities such as CBT, DBT, and ACT; tailoring interventions to individual client needs
• Collaborate with colleagues and engage in comprehensive case consultations and formulation
• Engage in continuing education on latest technologies, methodologies, and practices in the field
• Timely completion of progress notes and client on-boarding/off-boarding processes
• Attending weekly individual consultation, group consultation, and didactics
• Additional opportunities for Psychological Evaluations to supplement therapy work (for Psychologists)

Qualifications

• Masters-level education or higher in counseling/therapy (Ph.D., Psy.D., LCSW)
• Expertise in CBT, DBT, or other evidence-based treatments (e.g., ACT), with experience with child, couples and/or family therapy preferred
• Licensed in NY, NJ, or CT required (licensure required in at least one of these states prior to employment start date; must have applied to the other state(s) by employment start date)
• Self-motivated and driven to provide the best possible care for clients
• Kind, warm, and positive personality
• Collaborative individual who enjoys working in a supportive network of clinicians
• Strong desire to learn and grow as a clinician, with a sense of curiosity
• Final candidates will be asked to provide at least two professional references (at least one direct supervisor within the last 3 years) prior to any offer of employment
