Job summary

Morrison Healthcare, a Compass Group company, is hiring for a full-time Helper Driver at Northern Light Health in Bangor, ME. You will deliver catering meals, assist with setup and breakdown, and supervise service at scheduled functions.

The role requires a valid driver’s license and ability to obtain a food handler’s permit or alcohol server’s permit as required by state law. Days and hours vary, with a competitive hourly pay.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license, ensuring safe operation of company vehicles in accordance with traffic laws and conditions.
• Must possess or able to obtain a valid food handler's permit and/or alcohol server's permit where required by state law.

Responsibilities

• Assembles and delivers all food and supplies for catered functions to the scheduled locations.
• Arranges tables and decorations.
• Sets buffet tables with food, beverage and service items according to standards.
• Serves food and beverages to guests.
• Distributes and collects customer comment cards.
• Cleans and packs dishes and utensils for removal to the Catering Department.
• Returns unserved foods and beverages, serving equipment and utensils to the Catering Department.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
