Job summary

Schlotzsky's is seeking a friendly Cashier to greet guests, take orders, and help ensure a positive dining experience. You will operate POS, handle payments, and support store operations with accuracy and courtesy.

No prior cashier experience is required, training provided. Enthusiasm to learn, good communication, and optional bilingual skills will help service diverse customers; hours can reach 40–60 per week.

Qualifications

• Front-line customer service experience preferred but not required.
• Willingness to learn and enthusiasm for retail.
• Bilingual skills helpful for diverse customers.
• Familiarity with POS systems and cash handling is a plus.
• Strong communication and professional presentation.

Responsibilities

• Operate POS to process sales, returns, exchanges, and handle cash and card payments.
• Greet guests warmly and deliver outstanding customer service.
• Maintain cash handling accuracy with basic math.
• Answer customer calls with clear phone etiquette.
• Support inventory through stocking and regular stock checks.
