Job summary

Goodwill Manasota in Bradenton, FL is seeking a full-time Cashier to greet customers, operate the POS, and ensure accurate pricing and product information. You will engage customers in Change Round Up campaigns and help with front-line duties to support our mission.

Responsibilities include assisting in training new team members, maintaining a clean and safe sales floor, and delivering friendly, efficient service during days, evenings, and weekends.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Prior retail experience preferred.
• Six months of cash handling experience preferred.
• Must be able to work days, evenings, and weekends.
• Must be able to perform essential functions with or without accommodation.

Responsibilities

• Greet and welcome customers with enthusiasm.
• Operate the POS to ensure accurate and efficient sales data, price, and information codes on merchandise.
• Welcome customers to participate in a Change Round Up to the nearest dollar to support our missions.
• Respond to phone calls while offering world class customer service.
• Assist in the training of new team members and cashiers.
• Maintain a clean, neat, organized and safe sales floor and return all unsold merchandise to the floor.
