Memphis Goodwill Outlet in Hernando, MS is seeking a full-time Sales role. You will greet customers, operate the POS, and ensure accurate cash handling while supporting promotions and store cleanliness. You will assist in stocking, signing displays, training new cashiers, and maintaining merchandise presentation. A strong team player with adherence to policies is essential for daily operations.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience preferred; friendly, courteous attitude.
• Able to operate a POS terminal and handle cash accurately.
• Capable of following policies and safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers by phone or in person in a prompt, friendly, courteous manner.
• Operate the POS to ensure accurate sales data, pricing and codes.
• Ensure proper cash handling of all transactions including coupons and discounts.
• Encourage the Change Round-up program to support the mission of Memphis Goodwill.
• Keep front doors, counters and glass clean; return carts to proper areas.
• Assist with promotions, postings and display signage.
• Stock and maintain counter, showcases and cash wraps neatly.
• Follow safety practices and report hazards or injuries.
• Assist in training new cashiers.
• Clean dressing rooms and rehang clothes as needed.
• Place apparel and merchandise on the sales floor and rotate stock.
• Adhere to Memphis Goodwill policies; prevent theft and manage cash receipts.
• Perform duties within our guiding principles; participate in other activities as needed.
