Job summary

Silverado in Tustin is seeking compassionate caregivers to support residents living with Alzheimer’s, dementia, and memory impairments. This role blends empathy, reliability, and relationship-building to create meaningful moments every day.

You will provide hands-on care, build relationships with residents and families, and maintain care records. This position requires good English communication, reliable transportation, and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs. Training is provided.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Experience caring for individuals with Alzheimer’s, dementia, or memory impairments is preferred but not required.
• Reliable transportation to meet attendance and punctuality standards.
• Effective communicator in verbal and written English.
• Physical ability to walk, bend, and lift up to 50 lbs.
• Comfortable around animals and pets.

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Provide compassionate care and assistance with daily living activities (bathing, dressing, grooming, dining, etc.)
• Build meaningful relationships with residents, families, and fellow team members
• Support residents with memory impairments in a safe, respectful, and engaging environment
• Maintain accurate care records and report changes to the nursing team

Qualifications:

• High school diploma, GED, or educational equivalent preferred
• Experience caring for individuals with Alzheimer’s, dementia, or other debilitating conditions (preferred but not required)
• Reliable transportation to meet attendance and punctuality standards
• Effective communicator in verbal and written English
• Active role: walking, bending, lifting (up to 50 lbs.)
• Comfortable working around animals and pets

Anticipated pay range

$22 - $24 USD
