Job summary

Silverado St. Charles is hiring Caregivers to provide compassionate support to residents with memory-related conditions, including Alzheimer’s and dementia. This role values empathy, reliability, and relationship-building within a close-knit team.

You’ll assist with daily living activities, maintain care records, and help create a safe, engaging environment for residents.

Full-time PM shift (Tuesday-Saturday) with an anticipated pay range of $19–$21 per hour and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required or equivalent.
• Experience caring for individuals with Alzheimer’s/dementia preferred.
• Reliable transportation to meet attendance standards.
• Effective communicator in verbal and written English.

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate care and assistance with daily living activities (bathing, dressing, grooming, dining, etc.).
• Build meaningful relationships with residents, families, and team members.
• Support residents with memory impairments in a safe, respectful, and engaging environment.
• Maintain accurate care records and report changes to the nursing team.

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Provide compassionate care and assistance with daily living activities (bathing, dressing, grooming, dining, etc.)

• Maintain accurate care records and report changes to the nursing team

Qualifications:

• High school diploma, GED, or educational equivalent preferred
• Experience caring for individuals with Alzheimer’s, dementia, or other debilitating conditions (preferred but not required)
• Reliable transportation to meet attendance and punctuality standards
• Effective communicator in verbal and written English
• Active role: walking, bending, lifting (up to 50 lbs.)
• Comfortable working around animals and pets
