Silverado Newport Mesa, a memory care innovator, is hiring caregivers to provide hands-on support to residents with Alzheimer’s and dementia. The role blends empathy, reliability, and relationship-building to create meaningful moments daily.

Schedule is Full Time, AM shift, with a pay range of $21 — $24 USD per hour. Silverado offers benefits such as 401(k) matching, health/dental/vision insurance, FSA, PTO, and professional development opportunities.

Qualifications

• High school diploma preferred.
• Experience with Alzheimer’s/dementia care is preferred but not required.
• Reliable transportation and punctual attendance required.
• Effective communicator in English, both written and spoken.

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Provide compassionate care and assistance with daily living activities (bathing, dressing, grooming, dining, etc.)
• Build meaningful relationships with residents, families, and fellow team members
• Support residents with memory impairments in a safe, respectful, and engaging environment
• Maintain accurate care records and report changes to the nursing team

Qualifications:

• High school diploma, GED, or educational equivalent preferred
• Experience caring for individuals with Alzheimer’s, dementia, or other debilitating conditions (preferred but not required)
• Reliable transportation to meet attendance and punctuality standards
• Effective communicator in verbal and written English
• Active role: walking, bending, lifting (up to 50 lbs.)
• Comfortable working around animals and pets

Schedule: Full Time, AM shift, Sunday - Wednesday or Tuesday - Saturday

Anticipated pay range

$21 — $24 USD
