Job summary

Oakmont Management Group operates Ivy Park at Playa Vista, a premier memory care community in Vista, CA. The Care Provider delivers daily personal assistance and companionship, upholding our mission to promote independence and quality of life for residents.

Position is full-time with a 6am-2pm shift. We value compassion, reliability, and teamwork, and provide training, benefits, and a supportive work environment within a leading senior living group.

Qualifications

• Experience preferred but not required.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Strong desire to work with the elderly.
• Able to interact effectively with residents, families and staff.
• Willingness to pass health screenings and background checks.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with Activities of Daily Living (ADL) per care plan.
• Respond promptly to residents' needs while maintaining dignity and safety.
• Report any changes in resident condition to supervisor.
• Maintain a safe and secure environment for residents and staff.
• Foster teamwork and positive interactions across departments.

Shifts, Time, and Days: 6am-2:00pm

Pay Range: $18.42-$19.42

The Care Provider is responsible for providing personal assistance and daily care and services related to the residents in order to enhance the residents� independence and quality of life, in accordance with the company�s mission and values.

Responsibilities:

• Assist residents in their Activities of Daily Living (ADL) as specified in the resident�s service and care plan. This includes eating, bathing, dressing, toileting, transferring (walking), and continence.
• Respond to residents' needs promptly while maintaining residents' self-respect, dignity, safety, and confidentiality.
• Communicate any observed or suspected resident change of condition to a supervisor immediately.
• Maintain a safe and secure environment for all staff, residents, and guests, following established safety standards.
• Encourage teamwork through cooperative interactions with co-workers and other departments

Qualifications:

• Experience preferred but not necessary; we will train the right candidate
• Must be at least 18 years of age
• High School Diploma or GED
• Strong desire to work with the elderly and care for their needs
• Possess written and verbal skills to interact and communicate effectively with employees, supervisors, physicians, healthcare professionals, residents, and their families.
• Must pass a Criminal Background check and Health Screening tests, including physical and TB Tests
• For the health and safety of our team members and residents, Oakmont Management Group may require team members to vaccinate, participate in daily screening, surveillance testing, and to wear face coverings and other personal protective equipment (PPE) to prevent the spread of the COVID-19 or other communicable diseases, per regulatory guidelines.
