Job summary

Oakmont Management Group in Irvine, California, manages senior living communities, including Ivy Park at Playa Vista. The Care Provider role supports residents with daily living activities and ensures comfort, dignity, and safety in a memory care setting.

Shifts run 6am-2pm; starting pay ranges from $18.42 to $19.42 per hour. The employer offers extensive benefits and opportunities for growth across multiple western states.

Qualifications

• Experience preferred but not necessary; we will train the right candidate.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• Strong desire to work with the elderly and care for their needs.
• Possess written and verbal skills to interact and communicate effectively with employees, supervisors, physicians, healthcare professionals, residents, and their families.
• Must pass a Criminal Background check and Health Screening tests, including physical and TB Tests.
• Oakmont may require vaccination, daily screening, surveillance testing, and to wear PPE to prevent spread of COVID-19 or other diseases.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents in Activities of Daily Living (ADL) as per care plan (eating, bathing, dressing, toileting, transferring, continence).
• Respond promptly to residents' needs while maintaining dignity and safety.
• Communicate observed or suspected resident changes of condition to a supervisor immediately.
• Maintain a safe and secure environment following established safety standards.
• Encourage teamwork through cooperative interactions with co-workers and other departments.

The Care Provider is responsible for providing personal assistance and daily care and services related to the residents in order to enhance the residents� independence and quality of life, in accordance with the company�s mission and values.

Responsibilities:

• Assist residents in their Activities of Daily Living (ADL) as specified in the resident�s service and care plan. This includes eating, bathing, dressing, toileting, transferring (walking), and continence.
